Adding an Internet address or link, using a URL (short for ‘Uniform Resource Locator’).
The strength of the Internet lies in its ability to directly interconnect content, including the possibility to immediately jump to any ‘other place’ on the Internet. As part of moodle-based educational platforms, links can be placed both within any text or as a separate item on the main course page. The ‘URL’ resource is a link which is placed as a separate item in the selected section of the course. You must give the link a ‘name’ and include the URL (for example, ‘https://international.iro.uj.edu.pl/en_GB/index’)
In the Appearance section, you can decide what will happen when a student clicks on the link. For example, you can set it to open in the current browser window, or cause it to open in a pop-up window.
