Question: Drag and drop matching

This type of question is very similar to the regular ‘matching’ type. The important difference is that instead of selecting from a menu of answers, the student must drag the elements from the right-hand column (‘answers’) to the corresponding elements from the left-hand column (‘questions’). One of the answers must be matched to each question, but there may be more answers than questions (in which case one or more answers will be incorrect answers for any question).

Shuffle

Selecting this option will cause the questions (the elements in the left-hand column) to be shown in random order each time the question is asked.  (The answers in the right-hand column will be randomised each time the question is asked, regardless of whether ‘shuffle’ has been selected or not.)

Answers

There must be at least two items in the left-hand column (questions) and at least three in the right-hand column (answers). The left-hand column can contain embedded elements such as illustrations, multimedia files, tables, etc. The right-hand column can only contain text.
