Question: Short answer question

This kind of question allows the student to enter a short statement which is automatically checked by the system according to patterns which you set. An advantage of this kind of question is that it doesn’t suggest an answer in any way. However, the disadvantage is that you have to foresee any correct variants of the answer that might be given.

You must define the correct answer so that the system will accept all predictable versions. You may use the asterisk ‘*’ as a wild card.  You must provide at least one possible answer. Answers left blank will not be used.  You may assign each answer a percentile grade. One of the answers should have a score of 100% so it is possible to get full marks for this question.
